Liam Cana is an experienced programme manager currently overseeing the Low Carbon Agriculture Programme in Brazil as part of their role with the UK Government. Previously, they served as a Senior Policy Advisor focusing on animal welfare in trade and were involved in significant negotiation efforts at the UNFCCC as the lead negotiator for agriculture. Liam began their career as an Environmental Permit Officer at the Environment Agency and completed an internship at the Soil Association. They hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Science from Nottingham Trent University.
