Lizzie Chatterjee has extensive experience in international trade strategy and implementation, currently serving as the Deputy Director for International Strategy at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since 2021. Prior to this, Lizzie worked at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 2017 to 2020, focusing on international trade policy and research. Lizzie has also held significant roles as a Senior Policy Adviser at the Sustainable Development Commission and as a Low Carbon Industrial Heat Policy Lead at the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Lizzie earned both a Master of Engineering and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, specializing in engineering and environmental design in architecture.
