Matt Ensor is currently serving as the Joint Head of Social Research for the Agri-Food Chain at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since September 2021. In this role, Matt also acts as the Senior Social Researcher and SFI Evaluation Lead, focusing on the Sustainable Farming Incentive. Previously, Matt worked as a Social Researcher within the ELM Evaluation team at Defra and held the position of Lead Adviser at Natural England from May 2020 to September 2021. Matt holds a Master's degree in Human Geography: Society and Space from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Lancaster University.
