Matthew Bardrick is the Head of Natural Capital Accounting and Environmental Economics at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they lead initiatives focused on integrating natural capital into decision-making. Previously, they served as a Senior Economist, overseeing analysis related to food chain policy and chemicals management, and have held several roles in environmental economics, including positions at Future Cities Catapult and Monitor. Matthew earned a BSc(Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Applied Environmental Economics from the University of Kent.
