Michiel Doyle

Michiel Doyle currently serves as a Relationship Manager at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2023. Previously, Michiel held the position of Policy Advisor (Team Leader) at The Scottish Government, where responsibilities included working closely with Scottish Ministers and Cabinet in the Organisational Readiness Directorate. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Policy Officer focused on EU-EXIT Readiness and Transition, as well as being an Economic Advisor at the Government Economic Service. Michiel has also worked as a Fast Stream Economist at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, specializing in Climate Change policies and Business Support programmes. As a self-employed Investment Portfolio Manager/Analyst, management of diverse investment portfolios has been a key focus. Educational qualifications encompass an International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management from The CISI, a BSc in Economics from The University of Sheffield, and additional coursework in Investment Management and Climate Change's economic impact.
