Moira Redmond

Moira Redmond is currently the Portfolio Lead on Infrastructure for the Circular Economy at DEFRA, where they focus on sustainable practices within the sector. They have previously held key positions, including Head of Sustainability at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from 2007 to 2012, and Head of SuDS and Sewers at DEFRA from 2013 to 2016. Moira also served in various leadership roles, including Head of Floods and Water Emergencies and as the Live Animals Lead for the BBTP at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from 2022 to 2023. In addition, they have been involved in operational delivery related to biosecurity and trade since September 2021.
