Natasha James

Natasha James is the Head of Marine Litter & Ocean Pollution Policy at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they lead teams in designing policies aimed at marine environmental protection. With extensive experience in translating scientific research into actionable policies, Natasha has previously contributed to EU Exit negotiations and led projects focused on reducing underwater noise. They are a Future Leaders Scheme graduate and hold a Master of Research degree, showcasing strong expertise in marine legislation and conservation.
