Paul Grindlay is an accomplished professional with experience in policy and strategic engagement. Currently serving as Private Secretary to the Minister for Food Security and Rural Affairs at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since September 2023, Paul previously worked as a Senior Policy Advisor and Strategy Advisor at HM Revenue & Customs from September 2021 to August 2023. Earlier in their career, Paul served as a Research Assistant at the University of St Andrews in June 2018, supporting the Isotope Geochemistry Department. Paul Grindlay holds a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of St Andrews, completed between 2014 and 2019, and attended The High School of Glasgow from August 2007 to June 2014.
