Rhian Short

Rhian Short is currently serving as a Senior Service Management Officer and User Experience Officer at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Communications Specialist at Serco from October 2020 to September 2023, where leadership was provided for high-profile HR communications and engagement programs, including those for the disability employee network. Rhian also acted as a Social Media Mentor for Citizens Advice Peterborough in a voluntary capacity, enhancing social media content to better engage audiences in 2020. Previously, Rhian held positions at the Learning and Work Institute from September 2014 to April 2020 as both Marketing and Communications Manager and Campaigns and Marketing Officer, managing all aspects of marketing for policy projects and producing digital communications content. Earlier experience includes working as a Business Support Officer for Leicestershire County Council, managing the country parks' online presence and promotional events from February 2009 to July 2014. Rhian holds multiple certifications in marketing and public relations.
