Richard Bridge

Richard Bridge currently serves as the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, overseeing the evaluation of the England Trees Action Plan and Nature for Climate Fund Tree Programme. Previous roles include Head of Research at the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales, and Principal Social Research Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions and the Food Standards Agency, where Richard led significant research initiatives and stakeholder engagement projects. Richard's early career includes positions at Better Leeds Communities and Citizens Advice, where Richard provided outreach and generalist advisory services. Richard began his professional journey at Motorauctions Leeds Ltd, progressing from a bookkeeping role to Financial Director. Richard holds a Master of Arts in Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Policy, both from the University of Leeds.
