Rob Taylor

Rob Taylor is an experienced arboriculturist with a diverse background in tree management and research. Taylor began as a Junior Arborist at David James Tree Services and progressed through various roles, including Lead Arborist at Henrik Ravn Traepleje and Conservation Arborist for the City of London Corporation, demonstrating expertise in tree health and management. As a Postgraduate Researcher at Bangor University, Taylor focused on detecting Phytophthora ramorum disease in Welsh forests using advanced hyperspectral imagery. Currently serving as a Senior Science Officer for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Taylor contributes to tree health research and development. Notable education includes multiple degrees from Bangor University, particularly in Forest Sciences and Environmental Forestry.
