Ruth Davis

Ruth Davis is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since September 2018. Prior roles include Legal Advisor at the Department for Education from January 2016 to August 2018, and Legal Officer at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills from January 2015 to January 2016. Ruth's legal career began at Fisher Meredith as a Trainee Solicitor from September 2011 to September 2013, progressing to Solicitor until December 2014. Ruth also worked as a Paralegal at Irwin Mitchell in early 2011 and gained research experience as a Junior Research Fellow at Chatham House from September 2006 to August 2009. Academically, Ruth holds a degree in English from the University of Cambridge and has obtained Graduate Diplomas in Law and Economics from City St George’s, University of London and Birkbeck, University of London, respectively.
