Sam Bishop is the Head of Plant and Bee Health Policy and PVS at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, a position held since 2023. Prior to this, Sam served as a Plant Health Specialist and managed the Plant Health Consultancy Team at The Food and Environment Research Agency from 2012 to 2014. Sam also worked as a Field Ecologist at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in 2002. They earned a Master of Science with Distinction in Wildlife Management, Conservation and Control from The University of Reading in 2002.
