Sharon Earp holds a Master of Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University and has extensive experience in customer service, communications, and rural development. Sharon served as Head of Customer, Communications & Marketing at Nottingham City Council, overseeing marketing and communications within the Education department. At North Warwickshire Borough Council, Sharon was the Chair of the NWHB Leader LAG Programme, which focused on rural development. Prior roles include Group Facilities & Services Manager at Boots UK, Director of Performance at North West Leicestershire District Council, and Corporate Customer Services Manager at Derby City Council. As the founder of The Dandelion Hideaway, Sharon established a successful rural tourism business. More recently, Sharon has taken on roles at the House of Commons as Constituency Office Manager and Senior Parliamentary Assistant, and currently serves on the Independent Agricultural Appeals Panel under the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
