Simon Sharp

Simon Sharp currently serves as Design Lead/Manager at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where responsibilities include providing design leadership, overseeing User Centred Design work, and collaborating with various teams to cultivate a culture of evidence-based service design. Previously, Simon held the position of Head of Design at UK Youth, co-creating a design team focused on human-centred design principles, alongside serving as Head of Programmes. Additional experience includes roles as Programme Manager at Ambition School Leadership and The Challenge, where Simon managed teams and delivered youth programs. Early career experience involved training staff for the National Citizen Service and a brief sabbatical as a Commis Chef in Canada. Simon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Outdoor Adventure Management from Solent University.
