Tom Liptrot

Tom Liptrot is an experienced professional with a strong background in talent management and organizational development, currently serving as Head of Talent Management at Defra since September 2012. In this role, Tom is responsible for succession management, talent development, and performance management for the Senior Civil Service. Prior to Defra, Tom worked at the Rural Payments Agency as Head of OD & Talent, where significant culture change initiatives and performance management improvements were implemented. Earlier career highlights include positions at the Cabinet Office, where Tom led the development of HR talent management policies and HR transformation efforts across the Civil Service. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Lancaster University and has completed OD masterclasses.
