Tom Parry

Tom Parry is an experienced professional in governance, assurance, and risk management within digital, data, and technology services. Currently serving as the Head of Governance, Assurance and Risk at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since August 2019, Tom previously held roles at HM Revenue & Customs as Chief of Staff to the VOA Customer Group CIO and at the Valuation Office Agency where responsibilities included IT Business Partner and IT Communications Manager. With a strong background in policy development and project management across various departments, including the Department for Work and Pensions and the Health and Safety Executive, Tom has contributed significantly to health, work, and wellbeing issues. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History and Politics from The University of Manchester.
