Tom White

Tom White is an experienced portfolio management professional currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Development and Head of Project Delivery: People and Standards at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since October 2021. Previously, Tom held roles at the Department for Work and Pensions, including Head of Portfolio Centre of Excellence and Senior Portfolio Manager, as well as a Portfolio Manager at the Ministry of Justice UK, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive portfolio management framework. Tom’s earlier career included managerial positions in various building societies, focusing on training, development, and operational excellence. Tom's educational background includes an MBA from Middlesex University and participation in advanced leadership programs at Hult Ashridge Executive Education and Cranfield School of Management, culminating in a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham.
