Vanessa Burrows is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advising and research related to floods, water, and humanitarian assistance. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor - Floods and Water at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since November 2021, Vanessa previously held various roles at the British Red Cross, including Research and Insight Manager and Information Management Officer. Additionally, contributions as an Emergency Team Volunteer for ShelterBox and a Junior Researcher for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies further underscore a commitment to disaster management and relief efforts.
