Sam Davies

Sam Davies is the Director and Co-Founder of Defy Design, a non-profit plastic recycler, educator, and manufacturer. They are also the Director, Designer, and Sustainability Consultant at People&Things, working on designing and developing products to improve sustainability. With experience as an Industrial Designer at Event Engineering Pty Ltd, an Intern at Flux Consultants Pty Ltd, and a Freelance Industrial Designer, Sam has a background in designing unique structures and working on sustainable building codes and rating systems. Sam is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Studies at the University of Sydney, after obtaining a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney.
