Jon Rivas

Jon Rivas has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2001 as a Real Estate Assistant at Pepperdine University Real Estate Operations. From 2005 to 2016, they worked at Essex Property Trust, where they held various roles, including Assistant Property Manager & Bookkeeper, New Initiatives Training Coordinator/Yardi Trainer, and Learning and Development Manager. In 2016, Rivas joined Fierce, Inc. as a Master Facilitator. Jon then transitioned to Degreed in 2019, where they initially worked as a Client Engagement Partner and later became a Solution Designer in September 2021.

Jon Rivas completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Pepperdine University between 2001 and 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Jon received the DISC certification from DISCcert in April 2016, the Fierce Leaf Level Certification from Fierce, Inc. in April 2016, and the E-Learning Instructional Design Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in September 2013.
