Shane Sharp

Shane Sharp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and public affairs. Currently serving as Senior Director of Risk & Compliance at Degreed since August 2018, Shane has held several roles within the company, including Director and Manager of Governance Risk & Compliance. Prior experience includes working as a Public Affairs Specialist at Bonneville Power Administration and as Public Affairs Director for the US Army's Regional Health Command Europe. Additionally, Shane has held positions such as Public Affairs Officer at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System and Senior Public Relations Manager at Acxiom. Shane's career commenced in the US Air Force, where the individual served as the NCOIC of Internal Information for the 388th Fighter Wing. Shane holds an M.A. in Strategic Communications from National University and a B.S. in Finance and International Studies from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business.
