Jesper Thomsen

Jesper Thomsen is an experienced professional in the wind power technology sector, with a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Aalborg University. Jesper's career began at Vestas Control Systems A/S, where involvement in R&D focused on pitch control and variable speed turbines. Positions at kk-electronic a/s included project management and variable speed prototyping. Jesper served as Head of Product Management at DEIF A/S, leading efforts in pitch systems and integrated motor drives from 2006 to 2014. Following this, roles at DEIF included Global Customer Project Manager and Application Technology Manager, overseeing various MW retrofitting controller projects and solutions for major wind turbine manufacturers. Most recently, Jesper held the position of Wind Solution Department Manager at DEIF, concentrating on energy production and quality in controller retrofit implementations. Jesper also managed automation products at Qubiqa from 2014 to 2016.
