Robert Flatt

Robert Flatt started their work experience in 2004 at Kasten Chase as a Software Developer for a few months before moving on to Christie Digital Systems. At Christie Digital Systems, they worked as a Product Developer in Software from September 2004 to April 2007 and then became a Software Team Leader from April 2007 to June 2010, leading a team of developers in the Visual Environments group. Following their time at Christie Digital Systems, they joined Dejero in June 2010 as a Senior Software Developer until December 2017. Robert then progressed to become a Team Lead - Software from January 2018 to February 2021, responsible for developing software that transmits broadcast-quality live video over blended cellular networks. Currently, they are the Manager of Broadcast Software at Dejero, providing leadership and coaching to a team and developing solutions to transmit broadcast-quality live video over blended cellular networks.

Robert Flatt attended the University of Waterloo from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science.
