Troels Lund has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Troels started their career as a Trainee at Maersk Benin S.A. and later worked as an Assistant General Manager, Logistics and Sales Manager, and Managing Director at the same company. Troels then moved to Maersk Guinee S.A. where they served as a Cluster Sales and Marketing Manager.
In 2009, Lund joined A.P. Moller - Maersk and held several positions, including Senior General Manager, Business Performance Management; Director, Business Performance Management, Mediterranean Region; Head of Sales Operations; and Head of Market Management Excellence. During their tenure at Maersk, they were responsible for driving sales effectiveness, revenue, service levels, profitability, and operational costs.
In 2019, Lund joined DEKRA Danmark as the Salgsdirektør / VP of Sales, Markets and Partnerships. Later in the same year, they also became the Managing Director at DEKRA Job. Throughout their career, Lund has achieved notable accomplishments, such as maintaining high market share, doubling auxiliary revenue collection, improving employee engagement survey results, and introducing sales collateral and market intelligence strategies to direct sales efforts.
Troels Lund began their education in 1998 at the University of Copenhagen, where they pursued a B.A./M.A. in Law. During this time, they focused on topics such as Taxation, Corporate Law, and Financing Law. Troels completed their studies at the university in 2003.
In addition to their studies at the University of Copenhagen, Lund also attended the Copenhagen Business School from 2000 to 2004. Here, they obtained a HD (F)/Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Troels'sstudies at the business school had a general focus on Business Economics, with a special emphasis on financing.
