Michael Kuepper

Michael Kuepper has a diverse work experience in the field of HSE consulting and process safety. Michael started their career at IBNi Ingenieurbüro Nickel GmbH as a Projektmanager and Pipelineingenieur. Michael then worked at Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services - Oil & Gas as a Pipeline Engineer, Project Manager, and Business Development specialist. After that, they joined TÜV International GmbH / TÜV Rheinland Group as a Global Business Development Manager - Oil & Gas. Michael later joined TUV Rheinland North America Holding Inc. as a Director - Industrial Services North America, where they were responsible for P&L, strategic planning, restructuring, crisis management, and M&A activities. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Global Business Lines: Health, Safety & Environment / Sustainability at DEKRA, where they oversee the global HSE consulting portfolio and leads the Process Safety business.

Michael Kuepper studied Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Science – Lippe und Hoexter in Germany and graduated in 2005 with a degree equivalent to a B.Sc. Michael then received training at ESMT Berlin, although the specific dates and field of study are not provided.
