Stéphane Desmets

Stéphane Desmets has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Stéphane is currently serving as the Head of Global Cyber Defence at DEKRA, where they oversee the Cyber Defence team for the global scope of DEKRA's activities and services. Prior to this role, they held the position of CISO at DEKRA Services France, where they were responsible for Information Systems Security in the South West Europe region. Stéphane also worked at DEKRA Automotive Solutions, first as a Security and Infrastructures Manager, where they focused on Information Systems and Infrastructure Security, and later as the CTO within the IT department. In the early part of their career, they served as a Technical Manager at AutoContact, providing technical support and conducting audits for development teams. Stéphane's work experience showcases their expertise in cybersecurity, information systems security, risk management, and IT management.

Stéphane Desmets obtained a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie en Informatique from Institut Universitaire A from 1993 to 1995. Stéphane also received a Master d'Informatique Approfondie from Ecole Supérieur d'Informatique de Gestion de Bordeaux from 1995 to 1997.
