Thomas Jäger

Thomas Jäger has extensive work experience in the field of intelligent transport systems (ITS) and connectivity technologies. Thomas is currently serving as the Chair of the ERTICO ITS Europe Strategy Committee at ERTICO - ITS Europe, a public-private partnership organization. Prior to this, they held the position of Member of the Supervisory Board at ERTICO - ITS Europe.

Before joining ERTICO, Thomas worked at DEKRA, where they held the roles of Senior Vice President, Global Connectivity Technologies, Digital & Product Solutions, and Head of Technology Technical Service Management, Service Division Product Testing.

Thomas also has experience as the Global Director and Chief Executive Consultant at TJCS and as the Business Development & Director of the 7layers Group at 7layers GmbH and 7layers AG. In addition, they worked as the Head of Mobile Communications at Cetecom GmbH and RWTÜV.

Thomas began their career as an Engineer at Chung Teh Co. Ltd. Taiwan, where they were involved in German-Chinese trade. Throughout their career, Thomas has been involved in various international groups and committees related to wireless technologies and has expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.

Overall, Thomas Jäger's work experience spans leadership roles, business development, technology management, and international collaboration in the ITS and connectivity technology sectors.

Thomas Jäger holds a diploma in RF & Electrical Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum.
