Walter Straus has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the automotive industry. Walter started their career at Campbell Automotive Group as a General Sales Manager and successfully tripled sales at a struggling Saturn location. Walter then worked at Volkswagen of America as a Regional Training Manager Consultant, where they presented proactive solutions that led to significant improvements in sales satisfaction. Walter later joined Subaru of America as a Market Account Manager and Regional Sales Training Manager, responsible for improving sales and fixed operations profitability. Walter also served as a Sales Manager at Continental Motorcars, launching a new store and implementing a structured customer tracking system. Walter then joined Saturn Dealerships as a General Sales Manager, coordinating process strategies to improve customer satisfaction and implementing a customer tracking system. Walter later joined CARFAX as a National Account Manager, overseeing the performance of over 400 accounts and closing profitable revenue contracts with major dealer groups. Currently, Walter is working at DEKRA as a Manager - Key Accounts and Director - Automotive Solutions, providing customized solutions to large companies and OEMs worldwide.

Walter Straus completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management with a focus on Business and Product Development from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics, from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, in 1985, they briefly attended Georgia State University's College of Business without receiving a degree.
