Michael Tidd

Headmaster at Delbarton School

Michael Tidd has been the headmaster at Delbarton School since November 2017. Prior to that, they served as the headmaster-designate from July 2016 to November 2017. Michael also served as the treasurer at St. Mary's Abbey from February 2015 to June 2019, managing the financial operations of the Benedictine monks. From January 2012 to December 2015, they were a senior instructor at the Institute for Speech and Debate. Michael also taught history and was the director of forensics at Delbarton School from June 2008 to June 2018. Prior to that, they taught at Hudson Catholic High School from June 2001 to June 2003 and was the testing coordinator. Michael also served as an adjunct professor of education at Wilmington University from September 2003 to December 2004 and taught in the Supervisory Leadership program. In addition, they served as academic dean at Salesianum School from June 2003 to June 2006 and as an adjunct professor of education at Seton Hall University from November 2002 to April 2006. Michael began their teaching career at Central Catholic High School in August 1992 and taught there until June 1995.

Michael Tidd has a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, a Doctorate in Private School Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Master's in Theology from La Salle University, and a Bachelor's in European Michael'story from the University of Pennsylvania.
