Marissa Li, MD, currently serves as Senior Medical Director at DELFI Diagnostics since December 2025. Previously, Marissa held the position of Senior Director of Clinical Development and Global Product Safety at Cerus from August 2020 to November 2025, overseeing strategic safety for clinical trials, quality documentation, and medical reviews. With extensive experience in clinical development, regulatory strategy, and patient safety, Marissa also held the roles of Medical Director and Corporate Medical Director at Vitalant from June 2011 to August 2020, focusing on therapeutic services, blood management, and compliance. Marissa completed a Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at UCLA Health and Cedars-Sinai, along with a Pathology Residency and Medical Internship. Marissa obtained a Medical Doctor degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UCLA.
