Shawn McCabe has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Shawn started their career at Caritas Christi Health Care System, where they served as a Senior Engineer and was responsible for project proposals and work plans. Shawn also co-developed a corporate Intranet.
Following that, McCabe worked at Edu.com, Inc. as a Web Engineer before the company was acquired by Student Advantage Inc. Shawn then joined Teradyne, Inc. as a Senior Engineer and Team Lead, where they developed and implemented the core design of Active Directory infrastructure for a global enterprise.
McCabe also worked at Supervalu, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, where their responsibilities included architectural design. Shawn later joined Iron Mountain as an Architect for a year.
In 2008, McCabe became a contractor at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in Boston, MA, first serving as a Senior Engineer and later as an Identity Architect. Shawn was responsible for the design and deployment of authentication and authorization-related technologies.
After that, McCabe joined Keyfactor as the Director of Solution Engineering. In this role, they led a team of Sales Engineers and was responsible for understanding client infrastructure, recognizing business needs, driving sales, and building client relationships.
Most recently, McCabe worked at Delinea as the Director of Engineering for the US Public Sector, Canada, and LATAM. Shawn'sresponsibilities included managing and mentoring a team of field engineers, performing presentations, and practicing team-based selling in all aspects of the sales cycle.
Shawn McCabe earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Bridgewater State University between 1990 and 1993. Also, they obtained additional certifications including Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA in 2017, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure from Microsoft in 2013, and several other certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA between 2004 and 2008.
