Ashwin Ramdas has a diverse work experience, beginning with founding Cognitiva Tutoring in 2012. In 2013, they were a Wind Technician for NextEra Energy Resources as a college internship. Ashwin then worked as a Project Development intern at Clean Line Energy Partners in 2014. In 2015, they were a Design Engineer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company and an Amateur Comedian on YouTube, creating the viral web series "Ashwin Enjoys Nature". In 2017, they became a Data Engineer II at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. In 2019, they co-founded Infinity Goods, a zero-waste grocery delivery service, and in 2020 they co-founded Repeater, an app-based reusable takeout container service. In 2021, Ashwin became the Chief Technology Officer at DeliverZero, a reusable takeout container service.

Ashwin Ramdas received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 2011 and 2015. In November 2016, they obtained a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma. Ashwin is also an Engineer in Training certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
