Chris Stacey

Head Of Unstructured Data Storage (uds) Engineering

Chris Stacey has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, primarily with Dell Technologies since March 2001, where Chris holds the position of Head of Unstructured Data Storage Engineering. In this role, Chris leads product and engineering teams for critical unstructured data storage solutions, including PowerScale and ObjectScale. Over the years, Chris has held multiple senior roles, including Senior Director of NAS Data Path Engineering and various directorships focused on performance and data path engineering for Isilon and PowerStore. Chris’s background includes a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong and a BSc (Hons I) in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury. Prior to working at Dell, Chris held roles in IT infrastructure and database development at Motorola and other organizations, along with a period of world travel.
