Darin Platte

Darin Platte is currently the Head of DFx Engineering at Dell Technologies. Previously, in the role of Director of Cost Management Solutions in IHS Markit's Cost Benchmarking division, Darin coached multi-national companies and start-ups on managing product costs through data and analytics. With over 20 years of experience in Value/Cost Engineering, Global Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management, Darin has held senior leadership roles at prominent companies including Dell, Amazon, Nokia, Belkin, and Boeing. Darin earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics, along with a CPSM certification from the Institute for Supply Chain Management.
