Dell Technologies is a provider of hardware, software, cloud and big data solutions. Founded in 1984, today Dell Technologies has a workforce numbering over 130,000 and operates globally in 180 countries. Dell Technologies is divided into two reportable segments: the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and the Client Solutions Group (CSG). The Infrastructure Solutions Group provides Dell’s customers with cloud storage and big data solutions. Dell offers a range of solutions, including traditional and next-generation options like all-flash arrays, scale-out file, object platforms, and software-defined solutions. On the server side, they similarly offer a variety of solutions, including high-performance rack, blade, tower, and hyperscale servers. The Client Solutions Group provides customers with hardware such as desktops, laptops, displays and projectors. Included in this segment is their Dell PC-as-a-Service, which simplifies PC management for companies by allowing them to purchase individual monthly seats that encompass hardware, software, and lifecycle services at an affordable, predictable price point. Together, the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and the Client Solutions Group (CSG) facilitate Dell’s customers’ digital transformation as they work to strengthen their businesses and lift workforce productivity.
