Deborah Stokes

Deborah Stokes is an accomplished leader in academic and external research with extensive experience at Dell Technologies since October 2013, where current responsibilities include driving innovation and intellectual property development as the Leader of Academic and External Research in the Office of the CTO. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of External Research & Academic Alliances at EMC, where engagement with over 3,000 universities was key, and Director of External Research at Futurewei Technologies, Inc., focusing on acquiring innovative technologies. Stokes also led the Basic Skills Program at Coastal Carolina Community College and held various director-level positions at Nortel, managing strategic relationships and significant investment portfolios in technology and research. Stokes recently became President of the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals, further contributing to the field of service innovation. An MBA graduate from The University of Texas at Dallas enhances the professional foundation.
