George Chen is a highly experienced technology professional with a robust background in wireless communication and hardware engineering. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Dell EMC since June 2018, George is responsible for the development and validation of WiFi, LTE, and Bluetooth features on networking products. Prior to this role, George held the position of Director/Wireless Architect at Aerohive Networks, where leadership of a multi-discipline engineering team resulted in the delivery of 23 innovative enterprise WiFi access platforms over eight years. George's earlier experience includes significant roles at Trapeze Networks, MediaPhy Corporation, UTStarcom, Interwave Communications, and Philips Semiconductors, where expertise in RF design and development was demonstrated across various projects, including the first 802.11n AP and defining RF IC architectures for mobile phones. George holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York.
