Tom Deelman

Tom Deelman is an accomplished professional in the field of user experience, with extensive leadership experience spanning various organizations. At Dell from August 2007 to April 2017, Tom served as Vice President of User Experience, directing global teams in designing user experiences across Dell’s Infrastructure Solutions, as well as holding roles as Director of Experience Design and Director of User Experience/Usability, focusing on an array of products from XPS to PowerEdge. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Manager of Human Factors at Nokia, where Tom led a multidisciplinary team in user-centered design processes, and roles at Mobileum, Inc. and SBC, applying human factors methodologies to enhance usability across various applications and interfaces. Tom began a foundational career in research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Binghamton University, culminating in a Master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
