Tony Tang currently serves as the Senior Director and Chief Architect of Global Storage Solutions at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. since January 2017. Tang has extensive experience within EMC, having held various roles including Consultant Software Engineer in the VMAX Division and VNX Block Division from December 2010 to December 2010, and File System Architect and Consultant Software Engineer in the VNX File Division from October 2002 to January 2009. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Lucent Technologies and a Software Engineer at Marconi Corporation. Tony Tang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Peking University.
