Michael Mahon has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Michael most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Delmec starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance at Coillte from March 2022 to September 2022. From October 2017 to February 2022, they served as the Head of Business and Financial Planning at The Maxol Group. Before that, they held various roles at PwC Ireland, including Senior Manager from July 2016 to February 2017, Manager from July 2013 to June 2016, and Accounting & Tax Consultant from September 2008 to June 2013.
Michael Mahon completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at University College Dublin from 2004 to 2007. Michael then pursued additional professional certifications, including becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2008 to 2012 and obtaining their Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification at Irish Tax Institute from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they enrolled in a postgraduate program in Sustainable Energy Finance at Dublin City University, which they completed in 2013.
