Established in 1986, Delmon Holdings is a private, family owned group of diversified companies guided by strong ethical values, integrity, and transparency.

The group began its journey as a travel agency before evolving into one of the largest recruitment companies in Bahrain. In 1989, Delmon became a pioneer in recruiting Sri Lankan workers to Cyprus, building long standing relationships and trust across the Middle East. These connections later enabled the group to expand into trading tea and spices to markets including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, and Cyprus, leading to the formation of its trading arm.

In 1993, Delmon entered the aviation sector as the exclusive Sri Lankan agent for Kazan Helicopters, supplying the first Russian MI 17 transport helicopters to the Sri Lankan Air Force. The group later secured exclusive agency agreements with Avia Baltika Aviation of Lithuania and St. Petersburg Aircraft Repair Company of Russia.

The trading division continued to grow through partnerships with leading local and multinational brands. In 1998, Lafarge Cement appointed Delmon Trading as one of its main distributors in Sri Lanka, supplying both retail and large scale infrastructure projects. Since 2009, the group has further expanded its distribution network with brands such as Lion Beer PLC, Diageo PLC, and Unilever PLC.

Following the end of Sri Lanka’s civil war in 2009, Delmon diversified into infrastructure development, supporting local and foreign organisations in public procurement and tendering initiatives.

Looking ahead, Delmon Holdings remains committed to sustainable growth by expanding its portfolio and venturing into new business sectors.
