David Ware

David Ware is the National Leader of the Global Trade Advisory Practice at Deloitte Australia, where they specialize in Customs and Global Trade. With over 23 years of experience in Big 4 firms, David's expertise includes customs consulting, export controls, and excise duty, serving clients across various industries such as mining, manufacturing, and high tech. Before their work in Melbourne, David completed a three-year secondment in the Chicago office of Deloitte and has also held positions at PwC and Deloitte Australia. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Additionally, David is an active member of the Law Council of Australia's Customs & International Transactions Committee and the Australian Border Force's Compliance Advisory Group.
