Greg O'Brien

Greg O'Brien is a Manager in Mergers & Acquisitions at Deloitte, currently based in Chicago after growing up in Atlanta, GA. They pursued a Master of Accountancy and a graduate certificate in business taxation at the University of Missouri, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, graduating Cum Laude. With experience as an Accounting Graduate Research Assistant and as a Tax Associate at CliftonLarsonAllen, Greg now advises major private equity firms and various strategic clients on tax complexities in corporate transactions. Their practice areas include tax due diligence and structuring of acquisitions and reorganizations, with a focus on life sciences and healthcare clients. Outside of their professional pursuits, Greg enjoys cooking, skiing, golfing, and biking along the lakeshore in Chicago during the summer.
