Jacob Lay

Jacob Lay has a solid background in information security and technology, with experience in various roles since November 2019. Currently employed as a Consultant at Deloitte since September 2023, Jacob collaborates with government agencies to implement technology solutions and develop user interfaces. Prior experience includes serving as an Information Security Risk Management Student Assistant at the County of Sacramento Information Security Office, where responsibilities included administering security awareness programs and conducting risk assessments. Jacob has also worked as a Research Intern in the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program, focusing on machine learning applications for the US Navy, and as a Student Assistant at the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, providing technical support to users. Jacob Lay holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento, with previous studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Folsom Lake College.
