Mark Scherer is a retired Principal who led Deloitte's Structured Finance Technology practice, specializing in Financial Services, Securitization, Systems Development, and Technology Implementation. They began their career as a Project/Design Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand from 1979 to 1981, then worked as an Analyst at Standard Oil of Ohio from 1983 to 1987. Mark joined Deloitte Consulting in 1985 and has held the position of Principal at both Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte & Touche LLP. They earned a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
