Maureen Simpson

Maureen Simpson is currently a Senior Manager in the Risk and Regulatory Group at Deloitte UK, focusing on North South Europe and UK risk and regulatory issues, as well as the Audit Quality Plan and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Maureen manages the Audit & Assurance Quality Awards and leads the Black Action Plan, demonstrating a strong commitment to promoting diversity within the firm. Previously, Maureen served as the Principal Auditor at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where they managed audits for public sector clients. Their extensive experience in audit includes roles at Deloitte UK and TIAA Ltd, where they led internal inspections and developed assurance practices. Maureen is also pursuing a BSc in Economics and Accounting and an MSc in International Securities, Investments and Banking.
