Max Murray is a Senior Partner in the financial services insurance division of Deloitte Australia, leading the insurance sector and assurance growth initiatives. With over 23 years of global experience across the US, Europe, and Asia, Max has worked with top financial institutions and insurers to address complex regulatory and operational challenges. Max has contributed to significant growth in Deloitte's market presence and has held key leadership roles within the firm. An advocate for diversity in the insurance sector, Max also serves as Vice President of the FSAA, fostering the development of insurance professionals in Australia. Max holds a Double First Class Honours in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Strathclyde and is a Chartered Accountant and ASIC Registered Company Auditor.
