Steve Hook

Steve Hook, CFA, is currently an Assistant Director in Deloitte's Economic Advisory practice, focusing on regulatory mechanisms, cost of capital determination, and strategic support related to price controls. Previously, they served as a Manager at Deloitte, where their work centered on regulatory finance and public policy design, particularly within the Transport sector. They also held positions as an Economist at Which? and a Senior Consultant at EY, gaining extensive experience in regulated utilities and economic impact assessments. Steve's leadership skills were demonstrated as JCR President at Van Mildert College during their studies at Durham University, where they managed a budget and led a team to enhance student opportunities. They hold a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Durham University.
