Tim Reck

Tim Reck is an Indirect Tax Director based in the Deloitte Zürich office, with over 20 years of experience in international VAT advisory across the European Union. They oversee VAT planning and execution for Swiss-based Principals engaged in international trade, guiding clients from company inception through supply chain design and compliance processes. Tim is also a member of the Fachkommission indirekte Steuern at EXPERTsuisse and has received recognition as an Indirect Tax Leader from the International Tax Review multiple times. They began their career in Germany and have extensive knowledge of both Swiss and international indirect tax systems, bolstered by hands-on experience with major global organizations in the healthcare and finance sectors. Tim holds a business administration degree in tax and audit from Berufsakademie Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, and is a Certified German Tax Accountant.
